Looking for fun things to do in Paso Robles this January? We're kicking off 2027 with Juicy January in Tin City, a month of community events, creative workshops, local collaborations, and opportunities to connect!
At MCV Wines, we're bringing together local makers, small businesses, and friends for experiences that go beyond wine tasting.
Whether you love wine, occasionally enjoy a glass, or are participating in Dry January, you're invited! Wine, smaller pours, and zero-proof bubbles will be available.
What's Happening This January?
✨ January 2 | 2–5 PM — New Year, New Era
Kick off 2027 with a creative vision board workshop. Dream big, set intentions, and create something inspiring for the year ahead.
🔮 January 9 | 3:30–6:30 PM — Sip & See: A Taste of Tarot
Denise from Crush Vineyard and Teresa from MCV Wines are teaming up for an afternoon of wine, connection, and a little mystical fun! Lori, Queen of Cups, will guide guests through the basics of tarot reading before everyone gets a chance to practice their new skills. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity!
🧵 January 15 | Time TBD — Sip, Stitch & Save It
We're taking Juicy January to Hola SLO in San Luis Obispo! Join Sandra and Sara for a beginner-friendly embroidery workshop where you'll learn to mend, personalize, and give new life to your favorite jeans, sweaters, or accessories. MCV will bring three wines to taste, wine by the glass, and zero-proof bubbles.
📚 January 16 | 4–7 PM — Sew Your Story
Join local home crafter Crystal Salvatierra to create custom sewn bookmarks! Make one for yourself, your book club girlies, or a friend who loves a good story.
🔄 January 23 | 4–7 PM — The Great Juicy Swap
New Year. New Finds. No Shopping Required! Bring up to three gently loved treasures to exchange for something new to you. Sip, socialize, and give your favorite finds a second life. More collaboration details coming soon!

📖 January 30 | 4–7 PM — Read Between the Wines
We're launching our Silent Book Club and Book Swap! No assigned books, no homework. Bring whatever you're reading, enjoy some quiet reading time, meet fellow book lovers, and discover your next great story.
